Position Summary:

The Automotive Service Specialist plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. As a vital member, you learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, this role involves hands-on learning to address various automotive systems and services. Automotive Technicians participate in routine inspections, contribute to vehicle assessments, and assist in repair procedures. Additionally, Automotive Technicians may interact with customers to explain repair procedures, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service. Overall, this role demands a combination of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to build a solid foundation in automotive repair while contributing to the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oil change services and complete other scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Inspect and evaluate steering, suspension, and brake systems for proper operation.
• Arrange the batteries accordingly and examine the electrical setups to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Achieve or keep up A.S.E. certifications in any of the A1 - A8 specializations within the first two years of being hired, with the company financing the test and registration fees, regardless of the pass rate. Technicians are awarded a bonus for each certification they successfully obtain

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in grasping fundamental mechanical duties.
• The possession of a current driver's license is mandatory for driving both company-owned and client vehicles.
• Elementary understanding of general vehicle upkeep and tire servicing solutions
• Oil change
• Basic inspections
• Repairing tires
• Expertise in literacy, written communication, and arithmetic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
• A.S.E certification or similar external qualifications or training credentials are commonly sought after.
