As a CNA at Epic Healthcare Management, you will be an integral part of a team that prioritizes the comfort, well-being, and dignity of each resident.

Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Basic Nursing Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility, including transferring to and from beds and wheelchairs.
• Nutrition and Hydration: Assist with feeding and ensure residents are receiving proper nutrition and hydration.
• Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to residents and their families, and maintain a positive and caring attitude.
• Record-Keeping: Document care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other important information.
• Safety and Infection Control: Follow proper safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.

Qualifications of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Certification: Must have a valid CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of nursing principles and procedures.
• Compassion: Must be compassionate, caring, and have a genuine desire to help others.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with others as part of a healthcare team.
• Flexibility: Must be able to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
• Dependability: Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Additional Requirements: Some facilities may require CPR certification and/or additional training in areas such as Alzheimer's care or dementia care.
