Staff Nurse

Staff Nurse Position

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to individual care plans and facility protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor resident vital signs and assess their physical and emotional status regularly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care effectively.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and caregivers to address concerns and provide support.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their families.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required.
