We are currently seeking a highly adaptable and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Flexible RN Duty Nurse. This unique position offers the opportunity to provide nursing care across various shifts and departments within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Flexible RN Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care according to established nursing protocols and standards.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Flexibly rotate through different units or shifts based on staffing needs and individual preferences.

Flexible RN Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility is an asset.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments and responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Strong level of accountability.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.
