Position Summary:

The Automotive Technician is a crucial part of our automotive service team, where they acquire and enhance essential skills in diagnosing, fixing, and upkeeping vehicles. Working closely with seasoned technicians, this position entails hands-on training to tackle a variety of automotive systems and services. Responsibilities include taking part in regular inspections, aiding in vehicle evaluations, and participating in repair processes. Moreover, Automotive Technicians may engage with clients to clarify repair procedures, address questions, and deliver exceptional customer service. In essence, this role necessitates a blend of mechanical proficiency, meticulousness, and a dedication to providing top-notch craftsmanship in a dynamic setting. It presents a distinctive chance for individuals to establish a strong basis in automotive repair while contributing to the collective triumph of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake an oil change and carry out additional routine maintenance tasks as per the schedule.
• Conduct examinations on steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Place batteries in position and inspect the functionality of electrical setups.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or renew A.S.E. certifications in any of the A1 - A8 categories within the initial two years of being hired, with the cost of tests and registrations covered by the company regardless of the outcome. Technicians are rewarded with a bonus for each certification exam they successfully complete

Minimum Qualifications:

• Capacity to acquire rudimentary mechanical skills.
• It is essential to possess a legitimate driver's license for automobiles consistently and have the capability to operate both company and client vehicles.
• Fundamental knowledge of routine automotive upkeep and tire maintenance services
• Oil change
• Basic inspections
• Repairing tires
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• years of working in automotive repair, finishing a Vocational-Technical School program in a related area, or showing skills through third-party certificates/assessment can qualify you for the position.
• A.S.E certification or similar external qualifications or training credentials may be required.
