Position Summary:
Combining your profound knowledge of automotive repair with your outstanding interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and often serving as a link between technicians and customers. Furthermore, your duties will include selecting, mentoring, leading, training, and overseeing vehicle technicians while supporting in the sourcing of parts, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and roster work duties for car service staff based on their unique capabilities.
- Provide comprehensive automotive servicing solutions to fulfill customer requirements.
- Administer the selection and orientation of a proficient auto care team.
- Build a strong team culture that promotes teammate loyalty and longevity within the group.
- Maintain adherence to quality norms.
- Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by efficiently overseeing all customer interactions, encompassing proactive communication, resolution of concerns, and consistent follow-up efforts.
- Function as the primary contact point for handling customer inquiries, feedback, and issues, utilizing your strong interpersonal skills and automotive knowledge to develop lasting relationships and commitment.
- Improve your grasp of business operations in the automotive service field by efficiently overseeing administrative tasks, interacting with customers, handling financial transactions, and following company policies and standards. Use this knowledge to optimize efficiency and ensure the smooth operation of the store.
- Improve sales performance by engaging proactively with customers, performing in-depth vehicle inspections, and fostering communication between different sections of the service center.
- Implement strategies to enhance the front-of-shop experience, including interactive displays, promotional signage, and attention-grabbing decor, to stimulate consumer interest and drive revenue generation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The minimum educational requirement includes a high school diploma or its alternative.
- Four years of hands-on experience in the field of auto servicing.
- An individual with a year of service manager or service writer experience.
- Problem-solving customer complaints involves analyzing feedback and taking appropriate actions to address the issues raised by clients.
- Capability to handle inventory, scheduling duties, and equipment upkeep efficiently.
- Talent in leading and coaching team members.
- Proficiency in team collaboration and customer communication.
- Capacity to effectively recruit and select technicians based on store requirements.
- Maintaining an interest in ongoing education and staying informed about the latest trends in automotive repair.
- The continuous possession of an authentic driver's license is essential for test-driving customer vehicles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- The attainment of a degree that typically takes two years to complete or its equal substitute.
